The shortcomings of today's health checks

Many people with metabolically elevated risk are often not found in standard health checks. This is partly due to a failure to quantify individuals' insulin resistance, a measure important for proactive evaluation of metabolic health. In addition, health checks are often one-offs, limiting the ability to identify variations in an individual's health and underlying risk factors. Trends of increasing and decreasing risks are usually not identified and this increases risks of no or wrong actions.
